23N! (ZENI) is the noise dopplegänger of zeni and an emanation of fx.stilte, a division of Even Stilte.
In 2005, zeni (Stéphane Perrin) started to build his own effects and sound devices under the label fx.stilte.
In 2006, the effects and sound devices became more and more homemade instruments based on toys.
The idea of using them live in addition to building them came into effect in 2007.
While continuing to build homemade sound devices/intruments based on toys, zeni started to play live with his devices under the name 23N!. He has played numerous lives in solo or with other artists (such as Kakawaka).
23N! in a member of a musical project along with Kakawaka (noise) and Yousei (drums).

The music of 23N! can be described as distorted electronic toy outbursts exploding in a noise soundscape. His music is a mix of harsh noise and experimental chiptune.
